puppies

We will be breeding again this winter (by February 2016).  We have had a lot of inquiries, but feel free to contact us if you are looking for a puppy.

Dam: CH. Tramore Abbeylane to the Limit (Mult. Group Placer, BPIG Winner, GCH pointed)
Sire: TBD

If you email or call us to inquire, tell us about yourself.  We are selective on who we sell to, and one line emails usually get the same response back.

Daisy, the dam, is a puppy group winner, and multiple group placer. Her brother is well-known in the USA (Kristopher), has taken BIS, BISS, and is a Westminster KC Best of Breed Winner.

Dogs are a major part of our life, and we feel it shows. Our puppies are home-raised, and our puppy room is a part of our house. We use innovative ways to ensure that when our puppies go to their forever homes that they will be well-equipped for a successful transition. Our puppies are extensively socialized, receive early neurological stimulation, and basic training.

During the breeding process, we keep potential families informed with updates on the breeding process – and once the puppies are on the ground we do our best to make sure you're a part of the Yorick family watching your baby. We offer video updates, video/audio (Internet) calls right from the whelping box, and phone calls.

We believe that buying a puppy from Yorick will be like nothing you have ever experienced before and will make you a part of the Yorick family.  We are available for questions and concerns for the LIFETIME (and beyond) of your Irish Setter.

If you have never owned an Irish Setter before, then you should educate yourself on the health problems with the breed today.  While we breed only healthy dogs, there are still health concerns that can crop up.  Also, Irish Setters should never be off-leash (unless field trained or competitive obedience trained and know what you are doing).  You should have a fenced yard (secure from digging Irish or climbing Irish), or be prepared to run your Irish (on flexi) a couple times a day with several potty breaks as well.

Irish Setter are notorious counter-surfers.  Leave a cake on the table, or supper, and I guarantee it will not be there a few minutes later.  Crate training is a must for the safety of your puppy.
