Irish setters
Irish Setters are active dogs that require regular exercise. They also require one-on-one time and thrive on obedience, agility and field training.
In many cases Irish Setters can live to a very old age (our oldest was 16). But, like all dogs, Irish Setters are prone to certain health issues:
- HOD
- Hip Dysplasia
- PRA
- Epilepsy
- Bloat
If you are interested in owning an Irish Setter you should be aware of all of these issues. We will post more breed information as we get time. :-)
